Lori Hendricks - Director Lori Hendricks, a native Virginian, left for Texas with her husband Rob shortly after graduating from James Madison with a middle school teaching degree. Lori has taught in Houston public schools and now has shifted from teaching in the classroom to raising her own children. Rob and Lori have four boys ranging in age from 4-13. Living in a large city like Houston, Lori has seen great needs and great blessings. She lives right next to the medical district with over 28 hospitals and the city has a very large Central and South American immigrant population. Lori was shocked into action when she learned of the rampant sex trafficking epidemic within miles of her home. She worked with Elijah Rising, a nonprofit with a mission to end sex trafficking, on their project of building a rehabilitation center. She has devoted her time to volunteering at her church, her kids’ schools and with organizations that help women, children and immigrants.  Living in Houston, she has close connections with the people of Central America, and is passionate about serving their needs
